Over 90% of
UK businesses use Microsoft Office, the world's leading
application suite . In this course you will learn how to operate a number of
Microsoft Office for Windows applications which could include Word (Word
Processing), Excel (Spreadsheets), Access (Database),
PowerPoint (Presentations and Graphics), Publisher (Desk Top
Publishing), FrontPage (Web Site Design), or alternatively you can
learn about image creation or using the Internet.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The New CLAIT/iTQ Level 1 modules are suitable for absolute beginners who want to learn the basics about
Microsoft applications and as such there are no entry requirements.
Learners who wish to undertake CLAIT Plus/iTQ Level 2 need to
have completed either the New CLAIT, iTQ Level 1, or equivalent IT
qualification such as C&G e-Quals or ECDL.
If you don't want
to attend a centre but would rather do "Distance Learning" or "Home Study"
or "Home Schooling" you can do either of the above with us at our
e-learning portal, the STW IT Learning Centre.
You will find all
the learning materials for your qualification online at

learning centre individually or as part of a College group. In the centre

The modules are based on Microsoft
Office 2000/XP/2003/2007 and the Windows operating system.
The CLAIT/iTQ
online courses consists of: practical step-by-step workbook exercises; video clips; online "knowledge" web pages; interactive multiple-choice tests; additional practical exercises; mock exam papers; links to appropriate web sites; access to
forums.
It should be noted that both
CLAIT (2006)
and iTQ Online are a
combination of online learning and
practical step-by-step exercises
undertaken off-line. |
