Ex 7.5.2.4 - Understand what a digital signature is

KNOWLEDGE

DIGITAL SIGNATURES

As more and more people send confidential information by e-mail or as attachments, it is increasingly important to be sure that the documents sent are not forged or altered and that they can not be read by anyone other than the intended recipient.  "Digital signatures" can be used to prove your identity in electronic transactions.  They can also be used by others to prove their identity when they send you vital information.
