| A podcast is a short sound clip or video clip. Podcasting lets you automatically receive the latest
audio/video clip from
your podcast provider. This could be the latest podcast from a
news organization like the BBC or it could be and audio/video clip of a course you
are studying which is downloaded to you one a week for the period of the
course. You need to "subscribe" to receive a podcast, rather like you
might subscribe to a magazine and get it delivered each week. An
important difference is that many podcasts are free, and you can stop
receiving the files at any time. Your podcasts can de viewed on your iPod, mobile phone or PC. |
