KNOWLEDGE |
| |
| TELEWORKING |
| |
| Teleworking is about using technology to work
in places other than in the company office. People can telework
whilst on the train or in a hotel room using their laptop computer or
mobile phone. Increasingly though people are making greater use of all
new technology, particularly the Internet, to work from home rather than
going in to the office. This may be for 1 or 2 days per week or even
for the whole week. Visits to the office are still required to
ensure that the teleworker is still part of the workforce and that their
work is shared with others. |
