Ex 2.1.2.5 - Use keyboard print screen facility to capture a full screen, active window

KNOWLEDGE

PRINT SCREEN

It can sometimes be useful to be able to capture an image of the screen in front of you so that you can print a copy of it.  One way to do this is to copy the screen image to the Windows Clipboard (this is part of the computer's temporary memory where you can store information which you are copying from one document to another) and then Paste the image into a Microsoft Word document.

To copy the whole screen to the clipboard press the Print Screen key.

To copy the currently opened window hold down the Alt key and then press Print Screen.
